GUESTS' FACILITIES
 
Carrabaun House, a period-style house , was designed and built  by the owners, Angela  & Francis  Gavin in 1990. A family built home with opulent surroundings for guest’s comfort . The house is situated on an elevated site with striking views of Clew Bay and Croagh Patrick.
 
On entering the house you are greeted by a spacious entrance hall with its wide elegant staircase leading onto a double landing which is adorned with a crystal chandeliers and antique pieces. An idyllic gracious area to relax on the chaise longue and view the beautiful  countryside.
 
The spacious bedrooms  are equipped with all modern facilities, including Wi-Fi for the discerning traveller. You are guaranteed to wake afresh and renewed from a  good night’s sleep  in our orthopaedic beds ready to face the adventures of the day ahead.
 

In our guests' lounge, which overlooks our garden with panoramic views, you can relax, unwind and meet with friends.
 
The dining room, with its elegant display cabinets, of fine china is bright and spacious with its bay window looking onto Clew Bay, Clare Island and Croagh Patrick creating a perfect ambiance for a varied breakfast. Click to see our Breakfast Menu.
 
Carrabaun House offers ample off street private car parking on its ½ acre site. Bicycles can also be accommodated.
 
The garden, with its colourful plants, statuary and gazebo is lovingly cared for by Angela & Francis and is maintained to a high standard.
